Program Design/Development:

  • Visual Arts coordinator for the first annual SLV Arts Boosters Art Festival 2005
  • Teacher advisor for the San Lorenzo Valley High School Fashion Show, 2004, 2005 and 2006
  • Started an ongoing mural project and have mentored students in completing 3 large murals at San Lorenzo Valley High. Started an ongoing mural project at SLV High School, yearly students create 3’ by 4” individual murals.
  • Designed a Cartoon/Illustration course, which includes using computer software as an art tool.
  • Art Mentor, wrote curriculum guide for K-6, advocated for the visual program in the elementary grades and helped attain funding for this program at SLV School District, Felton, CA
  • Co-facilitator for the second annul Teen Woman's Day 2000, 2001 and 2003
  • Acquired funding, designed the facility, created the curriculum for the Photography program at SLV High.
  • Designed and established a successful Art Department at SLV High.
  • Established art exhibitions in the SLV Valley for displaying student work.
  • Created an art program, which served as an effective transitional tool for introducing girls into the Boys Club.
  • Designed and taught a hands-on art curriculum as a Spectra artist at Elementary, Junior High, and High Schools.
  • Founded and taught a summer recreation program with Art, Music, and Drama as its’main emphasis.
  • Created and taught an adult watercolor class through Santa Cruz Parks and Recreation.
